| October 23, 2003 | Planning session of Collin County Gay and Lesbian Alliance (CCGLA) Board of Directors to finalize formation of charitable organization. CCGLA approves formation of "Collin Equality Foundation" as separate charitable organization. |
| October 26, 2003 | Collin Equality Foundation incorporated in the State of Texas. Founding board installed, and officers are elected. |
| August 2004 | Collin Equality Foundation files Application for Recognition of Exemption Under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code |
| December 28, 2004 | Collin Equality Foundation receives Letter of Determination from Internal Revenue Service (effective October 26, 2003) |
| November 16, 2005 | Collin Equality Foundation modifies the Organizational Bylaws and removes CCGLA as a controlling organization for the Foundation. |
| July 9, 2007 | Collin Equality Foundation changes its name to The Triangle Foundation. |
