Image of Betty DeGeneresThe Triangle Foundation is a proud community supporter of One Night with Betty DeGeneres. The event will take place at the stunning Latino Cultural Center (2600 Live Oak, Dallas, TX 75204) on Thursday, November 8, 2007.

Hosted by the University of North Texas's Division of Equity and Diversity, Betty DeGeneres will be sharing her story as an advocate for gay and lesbian rights, and mother of Ellen DeGeneres. DeGeneres promotes personal and societal acceptance and understanding regardless of sexual orientation and identity. She offers a moving insight into her life as Ellen’s mother, while promoting education, compassion, and justice for alternative lifestyles.

Admission is $50 for the public, and $20 for students.

The Triangle Foundation is pleased to offer a number of grants to students who would like to attend this event. The grant will cover the cost of the ticket. Interested students can request an application here.
